Privacy Policy
Version 2026-10-17.8 · Highpower Security Products LLC, [company mailing address]
This policy explains what information ZoomCreds collects, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information: your organization's name, the names and email addresses of the people who use the account, their roles, and their passwords (stored only as secure hashes).
- Card information: the cardholder details and photos you enter to make cards, such as names, titles, ID numbers, addresses and emergency contacts, plus your logo and any images and layouts you create, and any prox numbers and magnetic stripe data you add to cards.
- Printing records: which cards were printed, when, and on which paired printer.
- Billing address: used on receipts and to work out sales tax.
- Shipping addresses: where you ask us to send cards you order from Highpower, kept with the order.
- Support conversations: the requests you send us and our replies, and copies of the emails we send you.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe. We keep only a reference to your saved card and a short description such as "Visa ending 4242", never the full card number.
- Technical information: the minimum needed to run the service securely, such as sign-in cookies and server logs.
How we use it
- To provide the service: designing, storing and printing your cards, and running your account.
- To take payments for memberships and paid services, and to keep financial records.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
- To contact account owners about the account, such as membership, renewal, payment and security emails.
- To answer your support requests.
We don't sell personal information. We don't use cardholder information for advertising.
Cardholder information
For cardholder details and photos, your organization decides what is collected and why, and we handle it on your behalf only to provide the service. Cardholders with questions about their information should contact the organization that issued their card.
When Highpower staff see your information
A small number of Highpower support staff can see an account's information, including cardholder details, photos and card images, but only to answer a support request, fix a problem, prevent misuse, or when the law requires it. Each time support staff open your cards, it's recorded in your account's activity log. Support staff can also, when you ask, send a password reset email, set a temporary password, turn off two-step sign-in, change a membership or issue a refund; these are recorded in the same log.
Photos from your webcam
If you take a cardholder photo with your webcam, your browser asks your permission first. The camera is only used while the photo window is open; the photo you take is handled like an uploaded photo. Nothing else from the camera is recorded or sent.
How long we keep it
- Card details and photos: without a membership, erased 90 days after the card was last created, edited or printed. With a membership, kept while the membership is active, then for 90 days after it ends. Details are in the Terms of Service.
- Account information: kept while the account is open, and erased within 90 days of it closing.
- Payment, tax and order records: kept as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, without cardholder details.
- Support conversations and email copies: kept while the account is open, so we can follow up on past problems.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Shipping carriers, such as UPS, USPS or FedEx, which receive the shipping name, address and phone for cards you order from Highpower.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the service's data on our behalf.
- Our email provider, which delivers the emails we send you.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to deal with suspected unlawful use.
Security
The website and ZoomCreds Connect connect over encrypted connections. Passwords are stored as hashes, each printer has its own secret key, and card images are deleted from the printer's computer after printing. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at support@zoomcreds.com if you believe there has been a problem.
Your choices
- Account owners can view, edit, export (as CSV) and change the status of cards at any time.
- You can turn on two-step sign-in for your login, under My login.
- You can ask us to close your account and erase its data at support@zoomcreds.com.
Changes and contact
We'll ask you to accept important changes to this policy the next time you sign in. Questions: support@zoomcreds.com or 203-634-3900.
