Your cards, kept on file

Without a membership, each card is erased 90 days after it was last used. Members' cards stay as long as the membership does, so a lost or worn badge can be reprinted in seconds, years later.

A drag-and-drop designer: place text, cardholder fields, photos, your logo, your own images and backgrounds, barcodes and shapes, on the front and back.

Layouts that keep their history

Barcodes and QR codes

Members' cards carry the User ID as a Code 39, Code 128 or Interleaved 2 of 5 barcode, with a barcode or QR code on the back, ready for scanners and phones.

Magnetic stripe encoding

Write tracks 1, 2 and 3 on your own printer with a magnetic encoder, checked as each card prints. Reprints are free.

Questions

How do I cancel?

Turn off automatic renewal on your Company page. Your membership stays active until the end of the month you've paid for.

What happens to my cards and layouts if I stop?

Nothing is deleted right away. Your cards and layouts are kept for 90 days after the membership ends; rejoin within that time and everything is there. After that, card details and custom layouts are erased. Download a backup before you stop, and you can restore it if you rejoin later.

Can I still print cards made with a custom layout after my membership ends?

Not with the custom layout: printing and reprinting with custom layouts needs an active membership. You can still print the same cardholder details for free by switching the card to a standard layout, and your custom-layout cards print again as soon as you rejoin.

Do I need a membership to print?

No. Printing on your own printer is free with the standard layouts.

Is encoding included in the membership?

Barcodes, QR codes and encoding magnetic stripes on your own printer come with a membership; without one, cards show the User ID as a number. Magnetic stripe encoding is priced per card: on your own printer it's charged the first time each card's stripe is encoded, and reprints are free. Magnetic stripe cards, prox cards, key fobs and stickers ordered from Highpower don't need a membership; they're new cards and are charged in full.
